After a 15-year absence from the French stage, Dido made her big comeback in 2019 with two full concerts at the Olympia and La Seine Musicale. Dido will be back in France in 2020 for a series of festival performances. Her first album, No Angel, came out in 1999 and features Here With Me which was the opening song on Roswell. The rapper Eminem made her name by sampling Thank You on his track, Stan. The series and rapper propelled her to the top of the charts. The more in-depth and intimate Life for Rent was released in 2003. White Flag off the album became the most popular track on French radio in 2003. Two more albums followed Safe Trip Home (2008), Girl Got Away (2013), the soundtrack for Sex and the City 2 along with the soundtrack for 127 Hours in collaboration with A.R. Rahman. Dido's four albums sold almost 30 million records worldwide. The fifth album Still on My Mind and its blend of hip hop, folk and electro sounds came out in spring 2019.
